Steven Cardella is a local almond farmer/broker, a Zenful Juice customer, and the inspiration behind our creation of the Berry Nutty Salad. The first time Steven came into our shop, he started telling us about almond farming and we were fascinated. Then, he kindly shared six pounds of premium almonds with us. We were excited to put them to good use and find a way to share them with all of our Zenful Juice customers. The one thing that seemed to be missing from our menu was a salad, so this was an opportunity to bring our customers another dish packed with the freshest and highest quality ingredients. This all happened just in time for the City of Oakland’s Restaurant Week where the Berry Nutty Salad made its debut.

Our customers have now also requested sliced premium almonds on our acai bowls, so we have added them to the menu as an available topping.
